Founded in 1979, a handful of devoted Christians recognized an opportunity to minister to Arizona seniors - particularly those with little financial resources. Realizing the need, they formed a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and named it Christian Care. In 2001, the Christian Care Coalition purchased the Villa Serenas Resort in Tucson and transformed it into the senior living community now known as Fellowship Square Tucson.
Fellowship Square Tucson is the largest, non-for-profit, independent living provider of affordable senior housing in Tucson, Arizona offering a full range of social, cultural and wellness programs to the elderly. We attract a diversity of residents who are interested in sharing their life experiences, enjoying one another and being a part of a community. Residents value the safety and security they feel living in a community that not only cares for them, but also cares about them.
